Puschart Prize nominees
We've just sent in our nominees for the Puschart Prize. It was a brutally difficult decision narrowing down the 69 stories we've published over the past year to just six nominees, but here they are:
"The Arrival" by Nathan Leslie
"Five Fat Men in a Hot Tub" by Jeff Landon
"Outer Space" by Tom Saunders
"In the Dust" by Joseph Young
"Running Water" by Tiff Holland
"He Wrote Sixteen Pencils Empty" by Daphne Buter
I wish all the nominees the best of luck, and I'm so thankful for every writer who submits his or her work to us.
Technorati tags: writing, Puschart Prize, SmokeLong Quarterly, flash fiction

Great choices, Dave! And congratulations & good luck to everyone!
Well. This was certainly a find. Just cruising around to see who else read "The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven," aside from A.S. I mean.
Thanks, y'all.
